Limeslade Bay
You know, I’ve taken more
photographs here than just about anywhere else, except at home, but even then it’s a close-run thing!
But I’ve never, ever taken one of this view, so when a promising sunset was forecast I drove to Mumbles with a specific image in my head that I wanted to make.
This isn't it!
As I was setting up my camera there was a stunningly beautiful sunburst on the horizon. Rushing to get it, I didn't even attach my remote release, but decided to use the camera's timer instead.
But sometimes the luck just isn't with you, and by the time I was set up and ready to go, the sunburst had vanished.
Anyway, I got this as a consolation prize. That and the knowledge that if I keep coming back then one day I might get lucky and catch that sunburst again.
