100 not out

When I started this blog just over a year ago I had no idea that I would reach 100 posts.

I didn't know how long I would live even.  And then when I suffered a massive pulmonary embolism earlier this year I really didnt think I'd be here and alive.

It's fair to say that the last 13 months have been a personal hell and as a doctor recently said to me, "you don't do things by halves do you?"

But I am still here, and for that I have to thank family and friends for the love, care and support they have given me.  I know it must be hard but without it I genuinely don't think I'd still be alive.

So to everyone who has read my ramblings I hope I've made you laugh with my (to me anyway) funny stories, introduced you to some great landscapes through my photographs and given you an insight as to what it's like to live with a serious illness. Thank you for letting me share my experiences with you.

Will I reach another 100 posts?  Who knows.  But there's nothing at the moment to suggest I won't.

Only time will tell.
