timetables

Ask any rail or bus commuter  and they'll tell you that at some stage their train or bus has been late and therefore not adhered to its timetable.

That's the trouble with timetables.  As soon as you leave school you can no longer rely on them.

In my last post I laid out a timetable or schedule of my hospital treatment leading to the harvesting of my stem cells.

Then at 2am this morning I was woken to be informed that I had a high temperature.  OK I thought, bit of paracetamol will sort that out and all will be OK. But no, following an examination from a doctor and some blood tests I've been told I'm not going home today but will be staying in for some lovely IV anti biotics instead.

Bum.

I just hope this doesn't affect the stem cell harvesting.

So just like anyone waiting for the 6.45 from South Ealing to Kings Cross* this morning I'm going to be disappointed.

*assuming it's late
