top 10

A while back, my sister set me the task of naming a favourite album from every year since I started collecting music.

It was impossible.

So instead I thought I would compile a top 10.  But not of my favourite songs.  That would result in about 5 songs each from Bruce Springsteen and Queen.  I decided on a format of deciding on my top 10 favourite bands, and then my favourite song from each of them.

Here’s my list, in no particular order:

·      AC/DC – Riff Raff

·      Queen – You And I

·      David Bowie – Rock ‘N’ Roll With Me

·      Black Sabbath – N.I.B.

·      UFO – Only You Can Rock Me

·      Bruce Springsteen – Thunder Road

·      Billy Joel – Scenes From An Italian Restaurant

·      ELO – Steppin’ Out

·      Led Zeppelin – Thank You

·      Dire Straits – Romeo & Juliet

There are, of course, no guarantees that by next week this will have changed!  All that is except for my favourite song of all time – You And I by Queen.
