I am....way too expensive

Nikon has just released its latest professional camera – the D850.

I was excited about this as I own an older generation of this camera and was considering upgrading as the rumoured specifications were really, well, exciting.  But I’ve just seen the price for this latest iteration of Nikon’s masterpiece and it’s £3500. 

£3500!!!

Yes, the price will probably come down to around the £3000 mark but that’s still too rich for me.

So, I’ll stick with my D800.  It does everything I need it to do and has been flawlessly reliable since I bought it 3 years ago.  Maybe if I was healthy, still working and still taking loads of landscape shots I’d consider upgrading.  But I’m not, and I don’t and therefore I won’t.
