shining out from the gloom
Wintertime.
After an autumn of photographing vibrant colours, the winter can appear to be rather dull. Unless we get snow or crisp, freezing mornings delivering a hoar frost then on the face of it there doesn't seem much to photograph.
Being me though and having to look at my feet while walking for fear of falling, I do get to spot some gems among the otherwise decaying leaves and detritus on the floor. And the two images this week perfectly demonstrate this. If I were just walking along normally, I doubt I'd have spotted these scenes; but I don't; and I did!!
