I need rest...

...or so it seems.

After writing and scheduling Monday’s post (on Sunday night) I was really ill.  I had symptoms of a stroke and an ambulance was called.

But by the time they got to my home (around 7 hours after calling) the symptoms were no longer present and although I still felt extremely unwell, I was in a much better state than earlier.

They advised that I make my own way to hospital for some blood tests and a scan.  I agreed but later decided not to go.  What was the point?

Anyway, I decided (on the advice of the para-medic who attended to see me) that I needed some rest and recuperation.  Luckily my sister sprang into action, collected me from home and swooped me off to Kent where she could look after me for a while.

I already feel a lot more relaxed and less stressed about things, as I no longer have the day to day worries that I would have at home.  Still, I miss being there with my family and Dexter but there you go – you can’t have everything!

Of course, I brought my camera with me, and managed to get this shot of one of Corinne’s chickens.

meet Hetty, everyone...

  1. 7 HOURS for an ambulance?!?!?!?!?!?!? Our healthcare system is looking better by the minute! But jeez, a person could be dead (and buried) by that time! So glad Corinne came to your rescue. You'll feel better in no time with her ministrations! :)
