my luck isn't changing

I've written on here numerous times about the string of bad luck that wraps me up presently.

Well, another strand has encircled me lately.

I got my Audi repaired after its little "accident".  And on the first drive home from the garage I heard a loud cracking noise like a bullet being fired.  A large stone had hit the bonnet of my car and then ricocheted onto the windscreen.

It's left a nasty scratch on the car's bonnet and a chip in the screen.

Of course, this chip could have occurred anywhere on the windscreen, but of course it has to be right in my line of sight of the road ahead. 

It could really only happen to me.
