Porthcawl

Just the other day here in Wales it was raining.

No, honestly.  It was.

Anyway, after a day of rain it started to brighten up and I thought conditions would be perfect for a stormy sky type of sunset.

So, enthused, I headed off to the coastal metropolis that is Porthcawl.

Of course, by the time I got there all clouds had cleared leaving a crisp, empty sky.  But undeterred I set forth to catch some images nonetheless.  And I’m glad I did.  I shot three scenes from broadly the same place whilst watching the tide creep ever closer to me and my tripod.

Here’s one of them.

Fujifilm GFX50R, Fujinon GF 23mm f4
2 seconds at f16, ISO 50
tripod, self-timed release, Formatt Hitech 3-stop reverse graduated filter, Kood 3-stop neutral density filter
