you would almost think it was planned

Over the next few weeks you'll notice that my Monday photography post will in the main contain a link to a YouTube video - sometimes even closely related to my ramblings.

Now, you might think this is a coincidence but I'm here to tell you that it's fully thought out, scheduled and planned.

Sort of!

I want to link my blog, Instagram, 500px and my YouTube channel more closely, so I'll be endeavouring to create a joined up post and video on most Mondays.

This might not always be possible, so if there isn't an accompanying video I apologise in advance for what must be a crushing disappointment!  As we get into the summer months when landscape photography becomes more challenging then by necessity I simply won't be able to film anything, but where I can I will bring out a video too.

I'm also hoping to create some more mindfulness type videos of crashing waves, a mountain stream or a forest scene.  These don't get many views on YouTube (if I'm honest, few of my videos do!) but I enjoy shooting them and putting them out there, and if even just one person connects with them and finds them helpful then it's job done.
