a short stroll to the woods and some varied images from it
OK,OK, it's fair to say I was struggling for a catchy title for this week's post!
But my daughter and I took advantage of some late summer sun and warm weather a couple of weeks back to take in a walk to our local little patch of woodland. We took a couple of lenses with us - a 30mm macro and 100-400 telephoto zoom and came away with what is best described as a mixed bag of images.
Here are the best ones:
Fujifilm X-H2, Fujinon 30mm f2.8 Macro 1/250th of a second at f5.6, ISO 125 handheld, 2 images focus stacked in Helicon Focus |
Fujifilm X-H2, Fujinon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 @ 400mm 1/100th of a second at f5.6, ISO 800 handheld |
Fujifilm X-H2, Fujinon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 @ 400mm 1/80th of a second at f5.6, ISO 800 handheld |
And here's a video for you to watch. It's also about a short stroll to the woods. A different woods though. Obviously!
Or, alternatively, if you've absolutely had enough of the woods, here's a really very interesting film about a lens. No, really…
