frustration finally led me to make the switch
But for most of those years I've been left frustrated by one peripheral device - the Apple Magic Mouse.
Yes, it might look beautiful with its slick, button-free minimalist design. In use though it has never been the most comfortable thing but I could forgive it that for the sake of its looks and overall functionality. It is a really easy, intuitive mouse to use, particularly if you swap between laptops with their trackpad and desktops.
There has always been one major flaw with it though. And that is charging the thing. Well, no, that's easy enough. It's just that for some totally brainless reason, Apple placed the charging port on the bottom of the mouse, rendering it completely unusable while charging.
Well, I finally made the switch to a more convenient device - a Logitech mouse. What it loses in design perfection it more than makes up for in ergonomics and, yes, charging it. Logitech's designers actually thought that someone might like to use their mouse while charging it, and therefore placed its charging port in a suitable place.
I have to say that after only a couple of hours of use I am accustomed to how it works, having set it up precisely how I'd like to use it via Logitech's app, and I'm converted!
So, no more hunting around at the bottom of a drawer for that old, wired mouse while my "magic" one is charging!
Yay!!
I agree (and I don’t say that very often 😂 - your sister).
