on the trail

Local to us is a lovely footpath running through firstly some fields and then a patch of woodland - well, depending on which way you tackle it!

Anyway, the woodland part is my favourite, and Dexter's too as this is where we often spot squirrels.  Just last week we all went for a stroll along it, and I grabbed this image with my phone, deciding to use its raw shooting functionality and employing its sensor's full 48 megapixels.

I keep saying it over and over, but phone cameras these days really are incredibly capable of getting genuine photographs and not just the odd snapshot of your dinner!
