a surprise garden find
While tidying and weeding some pots in the garden last week, we chanced upon this small cluster of mushrooms growing in one of them. And it's just as well we did with Douglas currently testing everything by eating it, as they are milky conecaps - potentially very toxic.
Poisonous or hallucinogenic or not, they make for a nice image I think. Maybe more autumnal than summer, but then here in Wales it's sometimes hard to tell the difference!

And then, just like buses, along comes this one which I believe is of the "magic" variety!
