I've opened a bug cafe
Now, I'm pretty sure you're all familiar with those bug hotels you can buy or make yourself. You know, those piles of bamboo, pine cones and drilled out bits of wood you see in the garden centre.
Well, of course I have one in my back garden, along with piles of rotting logs and stones for creatures to make their home. And now I've got one step further, or so it seems, and opened a bug buffet! Well, if these two images are anything to go by I have!
Firstly there's this green shield bug sipping a rain droplet from a window:

And then there's this tiny wasp eating what can only be described as an even tinier bug (or maybe spider of some sort) while perched atop a yellow geum bloom:
