bonus arachnophobia
I have my daughter's young eyes to thank for spotting the subject of today's picture - a tiny orb weaver spider on an outside window.
When framing up the scene though, I realised I could see like a double reflection on the double-glazed window and figured it would make for a much more compelling image than a straight picture of the spider. Here you get three for the price of one!
So, apologies for triggering anyone with arachnophobia, but I hope you can forgive me and enjoy the picture all the same. It's best viewed on a large screen or monitor to appreciate the detail in the spider's exoskeleton.

Around a week after I took this picture, the same spider was back in the same place (well, I assume it's the same spider) having caught and mummified what was once some sort of fly I guess.
