it was just too hot...

...to actually concentrate and focus on taking a "proper" photo.  So, for today's images (shot on the hottest day of the year earlier this month) I just pointed my camera in the general direction of some flowers and trusted to luck) and the greatest lens of all time!) to come up with something half decent.

And I think I need to adopt this methodology more often!
