blogger continues to annoy

No, not me "the blogger" but this platform!  

I've documented in the past the many things that frustrate me about Google's "blogger" app or website whatever you want to call it.   Inability to upload images without having to try three times or more and the complete failure whenever I try to reply to a comment on a post.  Except for the off occasion when it actually allows me for no reason known to man or beast!

And just lately I've been getting this message whenever I try to attach an image or video:

This has persisted for around a month or so now, and no matter what I do (and I've followed all the hints and solutions on the web) I cannot get it to work.

In order to carry on posting I've been forced to download the Google Chrome browser and create my utterings using that instead of Safari.  Maybe it's all part of Google's master plan for an even bigger market share than they have now.

Or maybe it's another push for me to go elsewhere or even start my own website.  Who knows!
