I shouldn't like this photo but...

...it has something that means I do!

At the end of the day it's not a very good picture.  It's badly composed with half the subject cut off and the bee's eye is out of the focal plane.  All in all, it's rubbish.

But here's the thing.  There is so much detail in the parts that are present and are in focus that the picture is actually quite enjoyable.  OK it's not up to the usual impeccably high standards you've come to expect of this blog (now, now - ne nice!) but it has its own indefinable charm.

Well I think so!
