seen through glass
The subjects in today's images were both spotted resting on my lounge window.
The robber fly pictured below I shot from indoors and I was happiest really to get the subtle reflection it was casting in my recently cleaned glass!

The image of the moth was shot from outdoors and was a fantastic opportunity I figured to get a record of its "undercarriage" - a view very rarely visible. It really is quite a fascinating view of some perfect genetic engineering. My wife thought it looked like some alien spaceship! Who knows. Perhaps that's what they really are...
