fireworks

At time of writing (mid-August) we are in a severe drought situation.  You might have seen my recent post detailing some wildfires we have suffered really too close to home (click here if you haven't), and as a result of these across the whole of the country, certain activities have been banned.

Disposable barbeques for one (though how anyone could hold any form of BBQ beggars belief right now - it just takes one spark after all).

Also on the banned list is the setting off fireworks.  Just as well then that the wildflowers in my garden recently provided an image of a "natural" firework display!
