sublime perfection

Following on from Saturday's post and video, when I was shooting some images for it I realised just why the Nikon D700 is one of my all-time favorite cameras.

Although I've set it up to shoot in monochrome, when taking raw images you still get all the colour information from the camera's sensor - 100% pure and unmolested.  You see just what the camera recorded.

And well, the colours from the D700 are just utterly beautiful.  Take a look...
