it's time to celebrate

It’s fair to say the last few Christmases haven’t been great.

2013 saw our mother starting to decline and me becoming ill with what would become my cancer.  2014 I spent in hospital after my back surgery and last year I was still desperately unwell following my stem cell transplant and having virtually no immune system.

This year, after a few health scares I’ve batted away, everything seems to be OK and we’re hoping for a normal family Christmas for once.

The decorations are up, lights have been lit, food, drink and presents bought and elasticated waist trousers are readied!

So, a very merry Christmas to everyone who actually reads this.  I hope it’s a healthy one and you get everything you’ve wished for.  And best wishes for a wonderful 2017.
