bloody hell

I popped into hospital on Monday to have the heart monitor I’d been wearing for a week removed and the readings analysed.

In and out.

Or so I thought.

It seems my heart isn’t behaving; it actually stops beating periodically for anything from 7 to 10 seconds (hence the dizzy spells I wrote about last month), and I will have to have another ablation. But I’m not allowed home until they’ve either done it or sorted out the problem temporarily with amended medication.

I knew stock-piling these was a good decision!

So, as is usual for me, a simple trip into hospital has turned into something else altogether. Robbed of any time during the day, and desperately trying to sleep through the noise at night are not happy memories from my last stint "inside".

I wrote recently that I can’t seem to catch a break at the moment. Seems my luck isn’t for changing.

  1. I'm sorry to hear this, Nick. Hopefully they will sort it out soon. :-/
