I know, yet another sunset

Sometimes photography is easy.

The view in front of you just screams “PHOTOGRAPH”, and wherever you point your camera it’s going to look lovely.

This, however, doesn’t happen often.  Not to me anyway!

But one evening last month the weather gods were kind and a lovely sunset was on the cards.  So, a mad dash to the seaside in time to set up resulted in me getting this image of the sun sinking below the winter horizon.

I used my new camera and lens, and put on my 4-stop reverse neutral gravity filter.  This has a darker band which you place on the horizon to control the brightness of the sun giving a more pleasing result.

See, told you it was easy.
