We've had little in the way of rain for weeks now.  In fact, the UK had just recorded its driest and sunniest month of May since records began.  Hooray for climate change!!

Anyway, the lack of any moisture has also meant a lack of seeing many molluscs is the garden.

So, when I saw this (sadly empty) shell among my flowers I grabbed my camera and grabbed this image.

After looking at it for ages I felt it would be better in black and white.  Do you agree?
