better times

Really, within yards, and minutes, of the car park we can escape into a nature wonderland. It's ideal for me with my mobility. I can feel like I'm miles and miles away from the worries and stresses of life with literally no effort.
If you ever find yourself in this part of the world, the park is well worth spending some time in.
Autumn really is my favourite time of the year. Not just as a photographer either. I no longer find myself yearning for hot summer days and long evenings outdoors any more these days. I much prefer the peace and quiet that darker nights provide.

Anyway, none of these images have been processed (apart from maybe some saturation boosting in one or two), they are all straight off my phone.
Oh how Dexter and I long to be able to go back there later this year. Fingers crossed it'll happen.
We have recently driven past the park and the car park appears to be open so that is a good sign. Also it looks like from 3 August the cafe will be allowed to re-open. I just hope the owners have been able to keep going through what must be extremely trying times for them.

I think on our first visit back we should indulge in a large, cooked breakfast. And treats for Dexter, of course!

By all means, go and have a hearty breakfast and help the cafe owners stay in business! I feel it's our duty to help out the small businesses in this trying time! (My waistline doesn't agree, but it's my mission! LOL)
ReplyDeleteNice photos, BTW. :)
