macrapted

Unbelievably, this is the 700th post in this blog.  When I started it way back in 2014 I had no idea that it, or indeed I such were my circumstances back then, would still be going strong (ish!!).

Anyway, I digress!

I've been experimenting with the macro lens that Corinne gave me earlier this year and adapted it onto my Fujifilm X-T4.  And while I've been at it, I invented a new word too!

This gives me a couple of advantages over using it on my 10 year old Nikon D90:

- more megapixels

- focus peaking (I need all the help I can get with my ageing eyes!).

Anyway, I got this rather lovely image of some saxifrage in my garden, putting all those extra megapixels into practice by cropping in tight on the final image.

Naturally there is a YouTube video accompanying the image, and as usual you can watch it simply by clicking below.  Really, zero effort required :-)
