bluebell hunting

I've lived in my current house for nearly thirty years now.  And prior to that I lived just around the corner for a couple of years too.

But I only recently discovered a small patch of woodland right at the bottom of my road while out with Dexter.  It was lovely.  Well, apart from the mouth-breathing scum who deem it acceptable to drop litter and fly tip.

I looked past all that though and found some lovely things to photograph, including that real jewel of the spring woodland floor - the bluebell.

So, macro lens in hand, it seemed rude not to venture back down there and take some pictures.  There's one of the bluebells below, and if you want to see more then all you have to do is take a few minutes out of your hectic schedule and watch the video I filmed of our little stroll.
