this is what I like about a photograph
Beauty, they say, is in the eye of the beholder. And Thursday, they say, can be just like a Monday in blogland...
Anyway, the point of this midweek image. Show two people a photograph and they will often see two different things. This picture illustrates that perfectly I think.
It's of a dead clematis flower in my garden. I photographed it against a mottled glass jar which is itself in front of my turquoise painted shed.
Now, you may see the dead flower, and that's fine. But I see an underwater scene, with the dead flower "husk" resembling some multi-tentacled sea creature. The background of course helps with this illusion and I used a ring light on full power to light it.
