A statement of increasing importance.  Why?  We can't afford the electricity bills.

Anyway, all is not lost.  We have a new saviour at the helm; our very own knight in shiny blue armour - Liz Truss.  That's right, Liz Truss is our new Prime Minister.  Let's face it, we have mined the depths of intellectualism here folks.

This is a woman, who when challenged by a Russian minister on his country's policy in a certain region told him that the UK was opposed to Russia involving itself in another nation's affairs, had to be told by the minister  that the regions in question were actually in Russia.

A woman who when challenged to answer a simple sum (8x9) refused to do so, and similarly when asked to spell "literate" again failed (oh the irony).

A woman whose solution to the poorest in society facing the inability to pay for heating and food this winter is to give more money to the richest in society in the hope it will then trickle down!  It doesn't.  When the richest are given even more money they don't spend it, they invest it (usually in a tax haven) or buy shares.  They don't suddenly decide to go out and buy more MacDonalds.

I fear we are heading for disaster in this country. People will die.  But that's OK because it'll only be the poorer ones.
