While I can't really get out and about at the moment, I'm still able to take some pictures from the comfort of my sofa while watching birds in the garden through my lounge window.
OK, while we don't get anything exotic in the garden (we only get sparrows, blackbirds, starlings and robins) they are no less lovely to photograph than their more colourful cousins. Here are two examples from last week:

Very beautiful photos! Indeed, as you say, the more frequent birds are no less interesting and colourful than the more rare ones!
