too much stuff

I hope you liked the picture of the decaying flowers I posted on Saturday?

I hope so as it was quite the undertaking.  Getting the composition and exposure just right to reflect the blooms' demise, I also had to set up an automated focus bracket and once that was all done, shoot the 38 images needed, stack and edit them.  And then I decided that I'd like to print the image, so I did that as well.

But the time taken to do that paled into insignificance competed to the length of time to took me to decide which camera system, camera and then lens to shoot it with.

I simply have way too much gear, or equipment, whatever across three different sensor sizes and makes of camera and lens mounts.  And I've been finding that instead of actually aiding my creativity it is stifling it, as I get overwhelmed at the choices I have to make.  And when I do, I'm left wondering whether I should have used something else.

So, I've decided to face this problem head on, and I've recorded a video for two purposes:

- clarify in my mind what I need to do

- to ask for opinions from people who watch the video.

Please take the time to click on the video below and if you feel so inclined chip in with your opinion or any advice.  All I ask is that you are objective and put aside any gear preferences and put yourself in my shoes!
