it's not all bad

Being stuck indoors that is.

I had hoped that before today I'd have been able to get out and shoot some stills needed for a video that is all but ready, but needs some city centre shots.  I just couldn't muster the energy needed to get out.

Anyway, I didn't get a bad second prize I don't think.  These dying blooms were about to get thrown out when I realised they might make for a decent picture.  I hope you agree that saving them was the right decision.  Who knows, as they continue to decay they may even get more interesting?

This image was lit by soft grey window light only - quite appropriate I thought for the muted tones of the petals.

No video this week sorry.  Hopefully normal service resumes next weekend.  There are some to enjoy watch on my music channel, Careful With That Axe Eugene if you're desperate!

  1. That whole focus stacking thing does deliver some major magic, I say I say.
