my grail pen
Long time followers of this blog will know that it all started back in the autumn of 2014 when I started getting more and more sick with myeloma.
But I've been keeping a personal journal for much, much longer than that. I try to write in it every day though I do miss a few now and again, and while making my entries I try to use a different pen and ink each day.
And to that end I started collecting fountain pens and inks many years ago too, slowly at first but then more quickly after a while.
Now, I've always preferred to use a fountain pen over a biro or rollerball. In my working days I was the one with ink-stained fingers in meetings and a constant source of amusement to my colleagues who just couldn't understand why I wouldn't use a more "conventional" writing instrument!
And late last year I managed to acquire my "grail" pen. The pen that would sit at the head of my collection. To find out what it is and what I think about it, just click on today's video...
