a beautiful spring day
Back on 4 March we woke to blue skies and sunshine. It may not be spring officially just yet (but give it a couple of days!), and certainly wasn't back then, but it certainly felt like it, especially as temperatures rose in the afternoon.
Anyway, sitting in the sun I noticed some new growth on one of the shrubs here, but on studying further I realised there was more bug (a green shield beetle to be precise - taking advantage of the warm weather) than bud about the whole scene.
Of course, despite being woefully out of practice (so please excuse the shoddy nature of the shots) it would've been rude not to have taken its picture!
