No, not Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.

I’ve just got home (Wednesday morning) after my ablation.  All went well and apart from some soreness where the entry wound is, light chest pains (normal I’m told) and general grogginess following the general anaesthetic I’m fine.

I see my consultant in three months to see if the procedure has worked or not.

I now need to sleep a lot after being woken every hour throughout the night, and not sleeping much for a good few days leading up to the surgery.

Can I say a huge “thank you” for everyone’s kind messages, they are much appreciated.
