fine-art (is it?)

I love minimalist images.

Nothing lends itself more to a piece of fine-art photography than a dreamy image shot in a romantic location and then presented in black and white.

This colour image was shot on Swansea beach adjacent to the dock’s west pier.

Who said romance was dead?

I shot it with a 10-stop filter to achieve a really long exposure, smoothing the sea out and getting that flat calm look.

I thought about converting it to black and white but decided to just de-saturate it instead to add to the dreaminess.
