a brand new venture

This blog has been up and running for over four years now.

When I started it, I didn't know quite how long it (or even I for that matter) would last.  But I think it has grown into something I can be very proud of.

I particularly enjoy posting my images on the site, and have decided to branch that part of the blog out into a new blog where I'll post an "image of the month" along with the details of how I went about making the image from the initial idea through to achieving the final photograph.

I want this new blog to be a celebration of photography for anyone with a disability or chronic illness, and proof that there are no barriers to creating hopefully great (in my case landscape) images.

The name of this exciting new venture is "Limping to Locations".

It's an unapologetic title reflecting the fact that I don't take myself too seriously and try to laugh at the fact I have cancer and that it stops me getting about.

This new blog will not affect "During the Meanwhilst" at all.  I'll carry on with twice-weekly posts of the usual dubious quality, and still feature an image each week as well.

So, if you enjoy looking at my images, or landscape photographs in general and have ever wondered how I made them, tale a look at my new blog.  It's up and running right now with a couple of posts.

I'm really excited about it and I hope you'll join me over there too.  Just click on the link below and as long as I've worked everything out properly you should be re-directed to the new blog.  Or, knowing my luck and technical ability, some Latvian folk dancing website!
