scouting

No (proper) photo today sorry - there are pretty slim pickings throughout the late summer in terms of landscape photography unless you are lucky enough to get a storm or a clear enough night to see the milky way.

I've had neither.

But what I have been doing is scouting out locations for when conditions improve, and I spotted this derelict farmhouse in the Neath Valley which I think will look spectacular when the trees behind get some autumn colour in them, contrasting vividly with the white building.

So, here is my "before" shot if you like.  Of course, I'll post the shot I hope to get later this year as soon as I get one I'm happy with.

  1. I'm more interested in the 'fall down' (what Husband and I call abandoned buildings.) What interesting and artistic shots you could get in and around that house?!?! :D
