sausage and maths

This is my 400^th post!!

When I started this blog some 5 years or so ago, I really never thought that it would still be going.  For starters, I didn’t know if I’d still be here!

It started out as an outlet for me during a very difficult period just after my cancer diagnosis.  I wanted to do something to share with anyone who was interested as well as anybody going through the same or a similar thing as me.

It evolved into somewhere I could share my strange thoughts and ideas (hence the title - just a couple of things I've written about!) as well as a place for an insight into my main hobby of landscape photography.

Now, aside from a couple of regular readers and commenters, I’ve really no idea who reads this stuff – but quite a lot of people do according to “bloggers” stats, and from some very strange places too!

2+2=5 (in sausage land)

I’ve enjoyed writing for this over the years – it’s given me something to do through some quite low times when I’ve missed having a routine that work provided.  I’ve gone through creative spells where I’ve ended up with weeks’ worth of posts in advance, and through times when I’ve had to take a break as I’ve had literally nothing coming to me.

Anyway, I wonder whether there’ll be a 500^th post in a year or so, or another 400 or a 1000^th post even.  Whatever, I’ll continue to strive to find something to write about in some form or another!
