please not again

This time last year I went into hospital for a regular, run of the mill coronary check-up after wearing a heart monitor for a week or so.

Just wait there while we check they said.  Five minutes they said.  Then I could go home they said.

Two weeks later I was still there and only sheer belligerence and bloody-mindedness saw me leave late on Christmas Eve.

Anyway, the point of all this is that I go back in to the same hospital for another routine check-up tomorrow (it would just have to be Friday the 13th wouldn't it?) morning.  I hope and pray to the good Lord that I do not have to stay there any longer than the 20 minutes or so my appointment should take.

I mean, what could possibly be wrong with me

After spending so much time in various hospitals over the past few years, it's not surprising that I have a deep fear of the places.

So, wish me luck and keep everything crossed for me, and hope like me that I'll be home in time for Easter!

PS - it's been brought to my attention that some people are unable to leave comments on the blog.  I've checked and double-checked my settings, made sure that comments aren't going to spam for checking before publishing and I can see no reason why this should be the case - at my end at least.  Sorry :-(
