NB: this was written well before the current Covid-19 crisis took hold

The second winter storm rolled across Britain in early February causing devastation, lost power supplies, damaged premises and a sea reminiscent of a foaming bath!

Of course, I had to defy the instructions from our nanny state to "remain home at all costs or I'd be instantly killed to death" to go and take a picture of it.

How I survived I simply do not know...
