that's it, my mind has completely gone

I finally realised (as if confirmation were actually needed) that I have succumbed to age and have become senile.

But what has caused this realisation?

My memory is still OK, my wife reassures me that I still don't look as old as my years would otherwise have you believe and although my body is crumbling under the pressures of myeloma I am still quite physically fit.  

No, my latest plight is due to computer use, and more specifically Photoshop.

I was editing an image on my computer the other dayand decided to remove an unsightly blemish from part of the picture.  Now, this is probably one of the easiest things you can do in photoshop; you just select the requisite tool and brush away the foreign body.

But try as I might and no matter how many times I brushed away, the object still remained on the photo.  I checked the settings and made sure I was using the eraser tool but nothing I tried would remove it.

I put "confused old man" into Google and this came up

Until that is it suddenly vanished.  Or to put it more accurately, flew away!

I'd been trying for around 10 minutes to remove a small moth that was actually resting on my screen and was not in any way on the image I was editing.

This is the end folks.  It's the slippery slope to a nursing home...
