a new rose

This week's image is from my garden, and back to close-up imagery sorry.

I've had this rose bush for four years now, and it's provided an abundance of blooms from June right up until the end of November.

That is until I decided to move it this spring.  I thought I'd killed it as it took weeks for any new growth to appear and there have been no flowers to celebrate.

Until now, that is, and the emergence of three brand new rosebuds.  The subject of my photo this week is absolutely perfect in its form and shape.  I hope these three are the first of many more as my rose hopefully adapts to its new spot.
