more minimalism…if that makes sense

Two more images from my summertime minimalism project this week.  Both are of the same subject (some rocks at Bracelet Bay in Mumbles) taken with different focal lengths, a different filter and given slightly different post processing attention.

Fujifilm GFX50R, Fujinon GF 32-64mm f4 @ 64mm
50 seconds @f16, ISO 100
tripod, self-timer release, Lee 10-stop neutral density filter

Fujifilm GFX50R, Fujinon GF 100-200mm f5.6 @ 200mm
20 seconds @f16, ISO 100
tripod, self-timer release, Lee 6-stop neutral density filter

I prefer the first image.  There is no indication of where the horizon is, so it takes on a really ethereal, almost dream like appearance.

Anyway, Autumn is just around the corner.  My favourite time of the year.  I'm hopeful of feeling well, energised and able to get out into the countryside to make merry with my camera!
