compare and contrast

Cast your mind back to your school and college days.  Remember those questions that would begin with "Compare and contrast…", and then you were given two things or subjects to do just that?

Well, after my February bone strengthening infusion at hospital, as usual I headed to Mumbles with my camera.  But this time I had a mission - to take two identical images, one with my bang up to the minute mirrorless Fujifilm kit and the other with my ancient in digital terms Nikon stuff.

And while geting the shot with the Fujifilm was a much, much easier undertaking, comparing the two images revealed that image quality wise there wasn't a great deal between them.

Here's the Nikon image:

2.5 seconds at f13, ISO 100
tripod, remote release, Kase Wolverine 6-stop neutral density filter
