me and my shadow
Or to be grammatically correct, my shadow and me. Or I, depending on the context!
Anyway, a short post to showcase an image I'm really happy with. This tiny bug, I think it's a sawfly of some type, was resting on a picture frame in our bathroom one evening and I just couldn't resist photographing it.
So, picture the scene - a tripod resting with one foot on the toilet cistern, another on the toilet seat and then the third and final one perched precariously on the windowsill! All to get an image of a bug I've photographed many times in the past and will again this summer!

I lit the fly with the torch on my phone to bring out the gorgeous iridescent colours on its wings along with the shadow to give the image its name. And then in post processing all I did was crop into the image and rotate it 90 degrees to turn it into a horizontal frame.
Toilet art!!
