while waiting
I use Adobe Lightroom to edit / process my images. And when uploading them, it can take a second or two for my computer to "build" a preview image from the raw file. While that happens, the image is a little blurry and soft.
Anyway, just the other day I took this picture of a daisy in my front lawn, and while the preview was loading, I liked the blurry look of it so much that when it came to processing the image I actually softened it to quite an extent to get a final picture I'm really very happy with.
I can even sense a project in the air...

Fujifilm X-H2, Laowa 65mm f2.8 Ultra-Macro 1/320th of a second at f2.8, ISO 125 handheld (well, rested on the ground!) |
I see the Laowa was used here, a thought occurs... (rare event)... a sharp image can be softened, but can a soft one can't be sharpened...?
ReplyDeleteSharpness is overrated imo.
