Recently I've really been enjoying a softer, more dreamy or ethereal look to certain of my images - usually small wild flowers.  I get the look by shooting "through" a foreground object that semi blocks the subject.

And just the other day while in my garden I spotted an opportunity to try the technique out on a fly hiding on a cosmos flower.  I figured it would make for a real story telling image; you know, fly hiding in cosmos!

Well I think it makes for a story anyway!
